Private events
Eight people or eighty. We've hosted closings, retirements, two rehearsal dinners, and one very good wake.
Why here
A private room in a restaurant runs on turns. Ours doesn't. When you book here you get the space for the night, and the evening ends when the last conversation does.
That changes what an event is for. People sit longer, talk further past the agenda, and leave having actually met each other. It's why the same four firms in this city book us every year, and why we've stopped advertising it.

Members take twenty percent off any space. Tuesday through Thursday runs a third less than weekend rates — and the room is arguably better on a Wednesday.
What we handle
Tell us a budget per head and we'll build a list your guests will actually enjoy — three options, mild to full, cut and lit at the table. A torcedor rolling live runs $600 for the night.
We don't have a kitchen and we won't pretend otherwise. We work with four caterers who know the building, or your own is welcome — the courtyard has power and a prep corner.
Open bar, consumption, or a drink ticket per guest. Printed menus with your name on them. A tasting flight paired to the cigars. Ask — most of it we've done before.

Hollis & Vane is not a real business. The name, address, telephone, prices and stock are all invented, and none of the forms are connected to anything. Your name, your photographs and your prices go in place of the invented ones, and it launches on your domain.
