Thank you, you're all set.
Your payment went through, and your renewal details are in my inbox. A confirmation email is on its way.
I'll file your renewal with the Division of Corporations within 24 hours, and email you the state's confirmation once it is recorded.
Your Florida fictitious name renewal, filed for you
Every Florida fictitious name registration runs five years, then has to be renewed — sole proprietor or LLC, it makes no difference. I file the renewal on Sunbiz and pay the state's fee, and you get the confirmation.
$105
$50 of that is the Division of Corporations' renewal fee, paid to the
state on your behalf. No newspaper notice required this time — that was a one-time step when
the name was first registered.
How it works
- Tell me your name, the fictitious name, and the registration number below, if you have it handy. That is all I need for now.
- I confirm your details and file the renewal with the Division of Corporations.
- I pay the $50 fee and forward you the state's confirmation for your records.
Why the deadline is real. Renewal has to be filed on or before December 31 of the
expiration year. Miss it, and the registration doesn't go late — it expires outright, and the
division removes it from its records. Getting back on after that isn't a renewal anymore; it's a
brand-new registration, which means the newspaper notice requirement comes right back. Renewing
on time costs $50 and nothing else. Missing it costs a new registration and another
newspaper ad, the same as starting over.
Already past the expiration date? Then this page isn't the one you need — the
registration can't be renewed anymore, and Florida treats it as a brand-new registration instead,
newspaper notice included. I handle that too, for $75, any Florida
county.
